Located in Pays Cocagne, The land of Plenty, there is so much to do and see in our wonderful region. We are situated 45 minutes from Toulouse airport and just over an hour from Carcassonne airport so easily accessed and in a wonderful location for sightseeing and exploring the region.
Locally we have the museum of pastel housed in the Chateau at Magrin.

With so many wonderful traditional villages to explore, it’s hard to know where to begin.
Our first stop is Lavaur, a lovely historic town with everything you could need, shops, restaurants, bars, a historic old town and of course boulangeries for the obligatory baguette!
Next is Lautrec, a medieval village located approximately half an hour away. It’s one of France’s most beautiful villages and home to the family of artist Toulouse Lautrec, himself being born in Albi. Lautrec also boasts a beautiful church, well worth a visit.
For lake activities we can head to Bassin St Ferréol, close to Revel. Here you can hire canoes, windsurf, pedalos or just enjoy a swim. Restaurants and snack bars are also to be found.
Revel is also worth a visit having one of the best markets in France!
A 15 minute drive brings us to the local golf club, Golf des étangs de Fiac. An 18 hole golf course, driving range, academy, putting green, bar and restaurant.
For a city visit we are 45 minutes to Toulouse, 30 minutes to Castres and 50 minutes to Albi.
The Canal du Midi at Castelnaudary is around 40 minutes away. Whilst you are there you can watch the boats going by while eating Cassoulet, the well known dish from the town.
Watch out though, it’s also the head quarters for the French Foreign Legion!
